Prep For your Appointment
Pre- Appointment:
Start lotioning the area about 1 week before your appointment date. Moisturizing the skin can lead to faster heal times and faster tattoo sessions! Skip lotion the day of your appointment to avoid interference with the stencil ink.
Day of your Appointment:
Make sure you are well rested, well hydrated, and well fed before your appointment. All creature comforts welcome! Ideas for what you could bring: blankets, pillows, extra sweaters, water, juice, snacks, headphones etc. Please keep in mind that ink can splatter - if you are bringing some of these things it is best if they are black to keep them from getting stained!
Please arrive on time. If you are early please wait in your vehicle until the appointment start time.
If you need any accommodations at all, just message me ahead of time and I will do my best to make sure your needs are met.
If you have any questions at all please let me know <3

Day 1
Saniderm & Saran Wrap: Leave your Saniderm or saran wrap on over night! Saniderm can be left on for up to 3 days after your appointment.
Saran Wrap: Saran wrap will be removed the next morning after your tattoo.
Day 2
Saran Wrap: remove your wrap in the morning, wash with warm water and unscented gentle soap. Baby soap is great for this! Then add a very light layer of gentle unscented lotion like lubriderm.
Saniderm: keep on - you may notice fluid is now filling up the saniderm. This is normal and good healing juices!
Check for leaks in the saniderm - if it is leaking remove in warm water and wash with unscented gentle soap and then a light layer of gentle and light lotion.
Day 3
Keep up with washing your tattoo 2-3 times a day with the gentle unscented soap then follow with a light layer of lotion.
Saniderm: by the end of the day today you will be ready to remove your saniderm bandage. Remove in warm water to help ease it off the skin. Then wash with gentle soap and follow with a light layer of lotion.
Day 4 and On
Keep up with washing your tattoo 2-3 times a day and following up with a gentle lotion after. Make sure you are using just a light layer of lotion as anything thicker can cause breakouts or rashes.
Scabbing and peeling is a normal part of the healing process. Try not to peel or pick at the skin as this can remove the ink and cause scarring.
Be gentle and patient with the healing process

Any redness that is radiating out from the tattoo could be an infection and you should get it checked out right away.
*NO swimming or soaking your tattoo in water for the first 2-3 weeks after your appointment. Please allow time for the skin to heal before these activities. Until your tattoo is healed you will want to keep it out of direct sunlight as it is not recommended to use sunscreen until healed.
